It’s hard not to be motivated by what Starkville Academy head football coach Chase Nicholson has to say.

There have been many times after our Wednesday afternoon chats about the next football game, that I felt much better and was ready to tackle the rest of my week.

Nicholson just has a way of delivering a message that’s going to make you want to be your best and look at any upcoming situation different.

When he took the stage on Monday during the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools championship press conference, Nicholson talked about how important it was to be in Jackson playing for a championship. The enthusiasm in his voice was evident and was even applauded by MAIS director of activities Les Triplett.

That’s the way it should be.
