Texas native Jasmine Shavers announced her commitment to the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Friday, nearly two months after they made her top eight list. She picked MSU over Texas Tech, Tennessee, Rutgers, Northwestern, North Carolina, Kentucky and Arizona.
Shavers is a four star guard out of Horn High School in Mesquite, Texas and was recently elevated to that four star status on ESPN. She’s considered the country’s 60th best player overall and is ranked 21st nationally at her position.
