Columbus native LaQuinston Sharp blocks during his days in Scooba at East Mississippi Community College. Sharp didn’t waste any time getting his first opportunity on the offensive line with the Mississippi State Bulldogs as he was called to duty last Saturday against Louisiana.

It never hurts to have a national championship in your back pocket.

That’s what offensive lineman LaQuinston Sharp brought with him to Mississippi State.

Sharp won back-to-back titles during his time at East Mississippi Community College in 2017 and 2018.

When it came time to become a Bulldog, head coach Joe Moorhead said wearing a national championship ring gave Sharp instant credibility in the locker room.
