Mississippi State cornerbacks coach Terrell Buckley has seemingly never been one to shy away from bold declarations.
It’s part of the swagger that helped make Buckley a Jim Thorpe Award winner back in his collegiate playing days before he moved on to the National Football League and became a Super Bowl champion.
This past spring, Buckley went out on a limb again. He said MSU cornerback Cam Dantzler was the best cornerback in the nation. Whether or not that proves to be true, there’s no denying the presence of Dantzler is one major reason the Bulldogs have faith in their secondary going into 2019.
