After getting through sloppy conditions and still winning comfortably 28-0 against Columbus, the Jackets had one of the biggest blowouts against West Point in several years with a 44-13 win. The second half effort in that game was the most impressive thing for Starkville, but there are still things that head coach Chris Jones wants to clean up starting tonight against Olive Branch at home.
Execution is one of the main things that Jones thought his team did well. It remains to be seen on whether or not it will consistently be good for the Jackets, but so far the team looks experienced on offense in the midst of still being rather young and inexperienced.
