Mississippi State’s annual Road Dawgs Tour resumed on Monday after a nearly-three week hiatus and it started back with a home game.
Headlined by MSU head football coach Joe Moorhead, Starkville hosted the second stop of this year’s tour on Monday at the Leo Seal Jr. Football Complex.
Moorhead embraced the chance to get back in front of Bulldog fans and talk about his team.
“It’s great,” Moorhead said. “This is a state that’s very passionate about football in general, specifically Mississippi State.”
The tour continued later on Monday with a nighttime stop in Birmingham, Alabama. Today, Moorhead and company will make stops in Olive Branch and Stoneville. They’ll visit Biloxi, New Orleans, Louisiana, and Dallas, Texas, later this week after the tour started in Nashville, Tennessee, late last month.
