There’s never a problem with having too many good players.
You’ll never find a football coach who’ll complain with that situation. However, Mississippi State now finds itself with a loaded quarterback room after this past Wednesday’s National Signing Day. That means there’s some figuring out to do.
Stanford graduate transfer signal caller K.J. Costello is now a Bulldog. MSU has four other scholarship quarterbacks on its roster – Garrett Shrader, Keytaon Thompson, Jalen Mayden and Will Rogers.
It all makes for an intriguing next few months as new MSU head coach Mike Leach shakes things out and settles on a starter.
