Travis Outlaw Elite 25 Basic Skills Camp

Who will be next?

Over the last decade years, the Elite Travis Outlaw Basic Skills Basketball Camp has had some pretty good talent come through the Travis Outlaw Center at the Starkville Sportsplex.

Former Starkville High School players Jalisa Outlaw, Tyson Carter, Jesse Little and others have gained knowledge from Travis Outlaw’s camp. Those players have gone on to the next level of basketball.

As SHS boys basketball coach Greg Carter looks out onto the court of the latest group of campers, he believes that tradition will continue.

“We’ve had some pretty good players come through here,” Carter said on Tuesday. “I think some of these kids have a chance to be pretty good.”
