A winning attitude is something instilled into the Louisville Wildcat football team when players are a young age.
The program is built on state championships and it’s defending the ninth from last season with several players that are returning from that team looking for one more ring to fill up two hands. Add in a coach from Noxubee County that has a handful of rings himself and you’ve got plenty of reasons to believe that the Cats can do it this season.
Starkville coach Chris Jones played under Tyrone Shorter at Noxubee when he was in high school and has coached against him at Kemper County and at SHS most years. He knows exactly what to expect out of a Shorter-coached defensive unit on Friday night when the two teams meet.
