Mississippi State freshman quarterback Garrett Shrader is practicing this week after missing this past Saturday’s game at Arkansas, but the plan at the quarterback position heading into next week’s game against Alabama is still a bit up in the air.
Shrader, who didn’t play at Arkansas because of what head coach Joe Moorhead called “general health issues,” was back on the practice field for the Bulldogs Tuesday.
“He’s still working through it,” Moorhead said of Shrader on the Southeastern Conference coaches teleconference Wednesday. “Garrett practiced (Tuesday) and did a nice job.”
