DESTIN, Fla. – Four of Mississippi State’s 2019 football game times and television networks, including the first three weeks of the season, have been announced as part of Southeastern Conference Spring Meetings on Thursday.
The Bulldogs’ Aug. 31 season-opener against Louisiana in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans will kick off at 11 a.m. on ESPNU. MSU’s home opener against Southern Miss on Sept. 7 features a 2:30 p.m. start time on ESPNU. A week later on Sept. 14, Kansas State visits Davis Wade Stadium for an 11 a.m. kickoff on either ESPN or ESPN2. It will be the first matchup in Starkville between the Bulldogs and Wildcats since Oct. 5, 1974. The final network designation for that contest will be announced a week prior to the game.
MSU’s annual Egg Bowl matchup against Ole Miss is slated for a 6:30 p.m. start on ESPN on Nov. 28 from Davis Wade Stadium. It marks the third straight season the contest will be played on ESPN primetime on Thanksgiving night.
