Mississippi State Athletic Director John Cohen, head football coach Mike Leach, several of his teammates and former teammates have expressed their support of running back Kylin Hill and his stance on the Mississippi state flag.

Former MSU and Starkville High School linebacker Willie Gay Jr., who was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round of April’s National Football League Draft, sent Hill a message through Twitter in an attempt to rally other student-athletes in the state to his side.
