Neither Alabama or Mississippi State’s rosters won on Saturday afternoon despite the Crimson Tide’s 38-7 blowout win in Starkville.
Fans, coaches and players never want to see a cart drive on to the field, but it was there three times for the two teams over the course of the game. Those were just the serious injuries that occurred as training staffs almost spent more time on the field than the red hat signaling a television timeout.
The most nationally relevant of them all was No. 5 Alabama’s superstar quarterback Tua Tagovailoa who had football fans everywhere collectively holding their breath as he went down after getting hit on the run by MSU’s Leo Lewis and Marquiss Spencer.
