It only took about 6 minutes of game action 10 days ago at Auburn for the critics of Mississippi State head coach Joe Moorhead to come out.
The Bulldogs were already down 21-0. They’d go on to trail 42-9 by halftime on the way to a lopsided 56-23 loss.
Social media was filled with hot takes on what Moorhead should have done differently. The message boards spewed venom in places.
It comes with the territory of being a millionaire head coach that your every move and every decision gets scrutinized. As Moorhead prepares his Bulldogs to face Tennessee this weekend, he insists he’s very much aware that what he does is under a microscope, but he’s paying no attention to the outside noise.
