The Bulldogs broke through with two runs in the bottom of fourth inning and went on to a Southeastern Conference win over the Crimson Tide to win the series.

MSU hit three home runs in the game as Elijah MacNamee hit his fifth, Dustin Skelton hit his seventh and Marshall Gilbert his his second.

Starting pitcher Peyton Plumlee (2-2) was the winning pitcher after five innings of work.
