KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Jake Mangum broke Mississippi State's all-time career hts record during Friday night's 6-3 victory over Tennessee.

Mangum posted his fourth-straight multi-hit game and now has 337 hits to jump him to the top of MSU's record book and into the top five in Southeastern Conference history, passing Taylor Dugas (334; 2009-12) of Alabama and former Bulldog Jeffery Rea (335; 2004-07) to push his name into the No. 4 spot on the conference’s all-time ledger.
