Just hours after getting his call to The Show, former Mississippi State baseball student-athlete Nate Lowe made his Major League Baseball debut at designated hitter for the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday night.

The Marietta, Georgia native became the 60th Diamond Dawg to appear in a big league game on Monday night in Kansas City.

Lowe got his first big league hit, a double, as the Rays defeated the Kansas City Royals 8-5.
