Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill looks for running room against Alabama.

Only a few days after Mississippi State announced Mike Leach as its new head football coach, the Bulldogs confirmed two of their biggest weapons will be sticking around to aid MSU’s cause in the 2020 season.

Running back Kylin Hill and linebacker Erroll Thompson both announced on Wednesday that they’ll be returning to Mississippi State to play their senior years. The news immediately makes MSU more formidable in Leach’s first season as Hill was a first-team All-Southeastern Conference running back last season and Thompson was State’s leading tackler.

Hill had previously announced he was going to forego his senior season to enter the National Football League Draft. However he never signed with an agent, thus was able to switch course and remain with the Bulldogs.
