Jackson Fristoe

Jackson Fristoe was certainly a major draft risk for Mississippi State under normal circumstances for a 40-round draft and would have been off the board in the first 10 rounds had he accepted a team’s selection, but he was also a player that had been talked about in the first five rounds as well when the Major League Baseball cut the draft down amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Last week’s five rounds passed and Fristoe didn’t get selected. He had already decided that he was going to go to MSU to play college baseball and try again in a few years.
