Mississippi State baseball

Mississippi State second baseman Justin Foscue, left, tags out Louisville's Lucas Dunn at the College World Series earlier this year.

Mississippi State head baseball coach Chris Lemonis believes he has anchors on the team with Justin Foscue and Jordan Westburg.

After the Bulldogs lost leaders such as Jake Mangum and Elijah MacNamee in the outfield, now juniors Foscue and Westburg are the veterans on the infield.

Foscue and Westburg have already been around long enough to have respect from younger players.

Lemonis likes what he has seen from them also.
