Former Starkville High School boys basketball player Blake Rogers volunteered at the Travis Outlaw Elite Basic Skills Camp last month.

Four former Starkville High School basketball players made a splash at the junior college level in their first year.

For that reason, Blake Rogers of Jones County Junior College, Donte Powers of East Mississippi Community College, Jariyah Covington of East Central Community College and Tabreea Gandy of Itawamba Community College have been invited to various exposure camps this summer.

Rogers will participate in the Mullen’s Premier Junior College Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, while Powers will travel to Atlanta for the #JUCOReportTop100 on Saturday. Covington will also be in Atlanta on July 21 and Gandy returns from Louisville, Kentucky, after a weekend event.
