Alleah Stamatis gave the Mississippi State Bulldogs everything she could on the volleyball court from start to finish this season.

The senior began the season by capturing two Most Valuable Player awards at the StarkVegas Classic and the Southern Miss Classic, then she ended her career on a good note Saturday afternoon with 22 assists and reached her milestone 1,000th assist of the season as MSU fell to the Tennessee Lady Volunteers 3-0 at the Newell-Grissom Building.

Stamatis became the first Bulldog since 2011 to collect 1,000 assists in a single season and was the seventh State player all-time to get there.

An emotional Stamatis was happy to be able to achieve the milestone in her final college match. She looks forward to following the progress of the Bulldogs and expects big things ahead.
