The Mississippi State men’s basketball roster for the 2019-20 season received a big boost on Tuesday night when the school and forward Reggie Perry announced that he was returning for his sophomore season.
Perry put out on his Twitter account that he was removing his name from the 2019 National Basketball Association Draft. A Bulldog spokesman confirmed that move later on Tuesday night.
During his freshman season in 2018-19, Perry started all 18 Southeastern Conference games for MSU. He also started all postseason games.
Perry was the leading rebounder for the Bulldogs last season at 7.2 boards per game and averaged 9.7 points per outing. Those totals were helped by his play in SEC games with 11.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
