Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors President Joe Williams made an appearance at the Starkville Kiwanis Club meeting on Tuesday to talk about what it takes to serve as a supervisor.

“Oktibbeha County is a great place to live, work, and raise your family.”

This is what Joe Williams, the President of the Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors told the Starkville Kiwanis Club during its meeting on Tuesday.

In his role of president, Williams also serves as the Supervisor for District 5. He first spoke to the Kiwanis Club about the services he offers to his friends and neighbors of his respective domain.

“If you’re in my neighborhood, I do manage the Talking Warrior Water Association. So, sometimes at night, I’ll get up and go repair a waterline. I do this to ensure everyone in my area has clean and healthy water each day. I was also a member of the Oktibbeha County Economic Development Board for close to 30 years,” said Williams.
