During the Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors’ first meeting of the month on Monday morning, Jackie Ellis of the Education Association of East Oktibbeha County Schools came to the board to follow up with them regarding a historical marker for the former B.L. Moor High School.
Last week, Ellis got a notice from a manufacturer of the state historic marker notifying her that it was delivered. On Monday, she approached the board about what the next step would be.
District 5 supervisor Joe Williams reminded Ellis that the board had already made a commitment back in August to fund that project.
