A Starkville man is facing a single felony count of hindering prosecution after police say he refused to turn over evidence to investigators.
In a press release on Tuesday, the Starkville Police Department said 32-year-old William B. Wright was arrested last Thursday, May 2, when investigators were following up to retrieve a stolen firearm.
Wright was arrested after refusing to cooperate with police.
He was transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail and was released after his bond was set at $1,000.
According to Circuit Court records, Wright does not have any prior felony convictions on his record in Oktibbeha County.
