After more than a month closed due to COVID-19, hair salons and barbershops in Mississippi are now allowed to open their doors and welcome customers.

Last week Gov. Tate Reeves allowed hair care businesses to open again after keeping them closed since the state's original shelter-in-place order issued in early April. Although the shops have been allowed to reopen, they are required to follow meticulous cleaning and safety protocols.
