The Golden Triangle's three institutions of higher learning have made several changes and concessions during the past few months as they weather the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mississippi State University, the Mississippi University for Women and East Mississippi Community College have all moved courses online, and will continue the practice into the summer, with hopes of students returning to campus again at the beginning of the fall 2020 semester.

The colleges have also received some aid from federal sources, including the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
