The Starkville Police Department is actively looking for two women they say entered the Kroger on Highway 12 and stole over $2,000.

SPD says that on Thursday, March 7, two females entered the grocery store and proceeded to the customer service area. They then distracted the clerk and caused deliberate confusion while receiving change. During this scam, commonly referred to as a flim-flam, the individuals left the store with over $2,000.

The females reportedly spoke with a heavy foreign accent.
