The year's first installation of The Partnership's UnWine Downtown will take place tonight, allowing shoppers and wine lovers alike to roam Main Street in search of deals and drinks.
UnWine happens three times each year, once in spring, summer and fall, and Paige Watson, The Partnership's special events and projects coordinator, said the spring session was typically the smallest, due to weather and the other events making it a busy time of year.
However, 2020's spring session of UnWine Downtown might buck that trend, Watson said.
"We're doing really well with ticket sales so far, and the event has grown in popularity," Watson said.
The event will kick off at 5:30 p.m. and run until 9:30 p.m. Participants will have to stop by The Partnership's office on Main Street to register.
Scotty's Wine and Spirits is sponsoring the event by providing all the wine, and Watson said they were also holding a giveaway where participants can follow Scotty's and one of the 10 businesses participating in the event for a chance to win a $20 gift card to Scotty's.
Additionally, all the participating businesses will serve appetizers and offer at 20% off all merchandise.
