The Greater Starkville Development Partnership will host its award-winning Night Market in Fire Station Park tonight.
The festivities will begin at 5 p.m. and last until 9 p.m., featuring vendors, pop-up shops, artisans, craft beer tastings and live music.
“We are thrilled to kick off football season once again with the Night Market,” said Partnership interim CEO Jennifer Prather. “Boasting awards from both Mississippi Main Street Association and Mississippi Tourism Association, the night market is the perfect way to experience the unique and creative culture of Starkville.”
She said guests will be able to browse the individual vendors and enjoy live music for free or purchase a ticket for the beer tasting if they choose.
“This event truly has something for everyone,” she said.
Beer tasting bands will be $25 each and attendees can enjoy unlimited craft beer tastings from different distributors. The craft beer tasting list includes: Ace Cider pear, Ace Cider pineapple, Cross- town Siren, CrossTown Traffic IPA, New Belgium Juicy Haze, New Belgium Trippel, Sierra Nevada Sierraveza, Stone Delicious IPA, Stone IPA, Wiseacre Tiny Bomb, Yellowhammer Oktoberfest and Yellowhammer T Minus.
Vendors for the event include Curio, GLO, George-Marys, Merle Norman, Luna Bella, Jovial Art, The Pop Porium, 929 Coffee Bar, The Flower Company, Dunkington Art & Jewelry, Munsun & Brothers Cummings Custom Wood Products, Proof Bakery, Klara Haloho, Simply Infused Olive Oil, The Wilcoxon Collection, Annie B & TLC and Big Buns & More.
The Night Market itself is free to the public.
