Two charged in motorcycle theft

Two of three suspects in the daylight theft of a motorcycle from a local apartment complex on Aug. 25 are now in custody, Oktibbeha County sheriff’s deputies say.
Brian Lamar Ingram, 19, of 1516 Blackjack Road, was arrested on a grand larceny charge Sept. 8. A second suspect — Jesse Watson, 36, of 1324 Fox Road — was charged with grand larceny on Aug. 27 — the day sheriff’s deputies went public with the theft.
A third suspect — described as a black male believed to be between 20 and 25 years old — is still being sought, deputies said.
Ingram, Watson and the third man are suspects in the theft of a black 2006 Suzuki GSX motorcycle from an apartment complex in the Old Mayhew Road area.
About 9:30 a.m. Aug. 25, witnesses reported seeing the suspects load the motorcycle into a two-toned brown early 1980s-model Chrevrolet pickup and driven from the apartment complex, deputies said.
The truck, which has silver tips on the exhaust pipes and a long wheel base, was last seen heading south on Old Mayhew Road toward Bardwell
Anyone with information about the third suspect’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Department at 323-2421 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
