MCCOMB— Mrs. Minnie Belle Lenoir McGehee, 95, of Magnolia, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the Southwest Miss. Regional Medical Center in McComb.
Visitation will be held 9:30-10:30 Friday at the Magnolia United Methodist Church in Magnolia.
Funeral services will follow the visitation. Rev. Philip Gerber and Rev. Joe Felder will officiate.
Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. McGehee was born April 24, 1916, in Magnolia. She was the daughter of the late Walter Alcus and Anna McDaniel Lenoir.
Mrs. McGehee was a homemaker and an active member of the Magnolia United Methodist Church and actively involved in the Magnolia Garden Club, having served as its president. Her family said she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Howard Mason McGehee; a daughter, Janice McGehee Stanfield; five sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Marilyn McGehee and George P. Mullendore of Starkville, and Kay McGehee and Riley Nelson of Baton Rouge, La.; son in-law, Clyde Stanfield of Brandon; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Debbie Mullendore Overcash (Tommy), Karen Mullendore Blocker (Adrian), Michael and Ginny Mullendore, Howie and Teresa Stanfield, Teresa Stanfield Parrish, Caroline Hiatt Ross (Stewart), Julie Hiatt Vascocu (Jerry), Shannon Nelson Bienvenu (Bryan), Sheri Nelson Engerson (Greg), and Sharon Nelson Jones (Rob); 16 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
