PHEBA — Cheryl Lynn Thompson Williams, 58, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at OCH Regional Medical Center, in Starkville. Cheryl Lynn Williams was born December 21, 1953 in Bethesda, Md., to Norma Sharp Thompson and Earl “Bub” Thompson. She was a retired Rural Mail Carrier in Starkville and a member of Pheba Baptist Church. She loved working outdoors in her yard, as well as camping and fishing, and more particularly working with her father in the bee and honey business.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating.
Burial will follow in Pheba Cemetery.
Visitation will be held noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvert Funeral Home.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her daughters, Kristin Lauren Williams of Pheba, and Brittany Lynn Williams of West Point.; two grandchildren, Ethan Cade Williams and Kinzley Cate Williams; her parents, Norma Sharp and Earl “Bub” Thompson; two sisters, Becky Thompson McNeel (Bilbo) and Kay Thompson Davidson all of Pheba.
Pallbearers will be Jake Davidson, Coby McNeel, Cody Brown, Erik Montgomery, Brad Latham and James Moffitt.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Hepner, Shane Moseley, Josh Anderson, Terry Williams, Henry Williams, OCH ICU nurses and Dr. Ramon Osorio.
