DALLAS — Ms. Ruthie Lane, 82, of Dallas, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011.
She is survived by sons, Willie Smith, Charles Smith, Wayne Smith and Anthony Smith, all of Dallas; daughters, Ernestine Butler and Janice Rogers, both of Dallas, and Gloria Bishop of Starkville; brothers and sisters, Robert Collier (Shirley) of Monticello, Roy Collier (Irene) and Madge Myles of Lancaster, Texas, and Hazel Henry of Salina, Kan.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held from 2-9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at Golden Gate, located at 4155 South R.L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at First Christian Methodist Evangelistic Church, located at 7575 S. Hampton Road in Dallas.
