GRENADA – The Starkville High boys basketball team continued its early-season roll Thursday night in Grenada.
The Yellowjackets held the Chargers to just six first-half points as Starkville topped Grenada 65-37.
SHS improved to 4-0 overall with the win.
Jacolby Mobley led Starkville with 15 points, Mike Brand scored 10, and Tori Rice notched a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Gavin Ware finished with 10 points and nine rebounds for SHS.
The Jackets jumped out to a 13-5 lead after the first quarter and limited the Chargers to just one point in the second quarter as SHS took a 38-6 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Starkville extended its lead to 50-16 after three quarters before Grenada closed the gap a bit over the course of the fourth quarter.
The Jackets return to action on Nov. 26 when they participate in the Thanksgiving Classic at Tougaloo College.

GRENADA – The Lady Jackets jumped out to a 17-6 lead after the first quarter and never looked back in evening their record at 2-2 for the season.
Starkville had a 24-15 advantage at halftime.
Kelsye Reed led the Jackets in scoring with 14 points, while Brittany Brown had 12 points and Imane Montgomery chipped in 11 points.
