NOXAPATER – The West Oktibbeha Timberwolves look to bounce back from tough loss this week so they can improve their standing in the Class A playoffs.
After dropping a 41-6 decision on the road to Noxapater Friday night, the Timberwolves saw their records fall to 7-3 overall and 5-2 in Class A, Region 3.
East Oktibbeha stands in a tie for third in the region standings and can lock up the third seed in the playoffs with a win against Pelahatchie at home next Friday.
The only points for the Timberwolves against Noxapater came on a 1-yard touchdown run by Tiberias Lampkin.
East Oktibbeha had won five-straight games in the region prior to the loss to Noxapater. The Timberwolves opened the region schedule with a 50-14 loss to Nanih Waiya.
