Ms. Martha S. Wray, 77, died Sept. 28, 2011, at Clay County Medical Center in West Point.
She was a retired accountant for Northeast Mississippi Coca Cola Bottling Company and a member of Artesia Methodist Church. She was an active member of the East Oktibbeha County Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid supporter of Curtis Chapel Cemetery and Palmer Home for Children.
Mrs. Wray is preceded in death by her parents, Vardaman Lee Shook and Irene Price Shook; and beloved son, Leonard S. Wray, III.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard S. Wray, Jr. of Starkville; daughters, Brenda Wray Warren (Bobby) of Aberdeen and Elizabeth (Beth) Wray Thomas (Tim) of Starkville; son, David Wray of The Woodlands,Texas; sisters, Dorothy Glenn of Columbus and Faye Adair of Oxford; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Wray is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 29 from 5-7 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery.
