BLYTHEVILLE, ARK. — Willie Ralph Hall, 82, of Blytheville, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark. Born in Longview, Mississippi to Clarence and Minnie Betts Hall, he was retired from the Randall Company and was a member of North 10th Street Baptist Church.
Willie lived in Blytheville most of his life. He was very outgoing, humorous, liked pulling jokes on people and loved to reminisce about the past. He also enjoyed Sunday drives, going to junk stores, hunting, and fishing and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Ed Hall.
Willie is survived by his wife, Dorothy Odum Hall, of the home; his children, Teresa Williamson of Ackerman, Miss.; Charles Hall and his wife Sherry of Sturgis, Miss.; Randall Hall and his wife Nancy of Gosnell, Ark.; and grandchildren, Brittany Bramme and her husband Robbie, Allison Hall, Hillary Hall, Robert Williamson, Samuel Williamson, Jessie Hall, Keri McDaniel, and Steven Victory.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 27, at 2 p.m. at Craig Springs Cemetery, south of Starkville, Miss., with Rev. Brian Wells and Billy Holifield officiating.
