Mr. Douglas A. Paden, 55, of Starkville, passed away at OCH Regional Medical Center on Friday, June 3, 2011.
He was a Material Supply Master in the MSU Physical Plant for 32 years. He was also an avid outdoorsman, member of the National Rifleman Association and a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.
Mr. Paden was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Mary Paden.
He is survived by special friend Ruby Tedder; his four children, Michelle Paden McDowell (Silas), William Paden (Keegan), James Paden; and Andria Paden; three grandchildren, Braxton, Cole & Jack McDowell; and a sister, Donna Collier (Bobby).
Visitation for Mr. Paden is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Welch Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Welch Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev. Jason Middleton and Rev. Jason Green. Burial will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery.
