Miss Majorette of Mississippi Rachel Huber signed a scholarship agreement with the Delta State University Band. She will be the band’s feature twirler and will play oboe in the wind ensemble. Rachel was joined by Head Band Director Dr. John Wojcik and DSU Woodwind Instructor Dr. Bret Pimentel. A 2011 graduate from the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science in Columbus, Rachel will major in Biology and Chemistry at DSU. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Steve Huber of Cleveland and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billie Bonner of Grenada and Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Huber of Shreveport, La. Mrs. JoAnne Day of Jackson is her coach.
