ACKERMAN — Funeral services for Georgia Belle Ward will be noon today at Coleman Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Carrubba officiating.
Burial will be at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman with Coleman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. until service time at Coleman Funeral HOme.
Mrs. Ward, 91, of Ackerman, died May 4, 2011, at Bedford Care Center of Marion. She was a lifelong resident of Choctaw County and member of Ackerman United Methodist Church. She was a retired factory supervisor.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Ward Barham (Jerry) of Brandon, Peggy Ward Pettigrew (Wilbur) of Nesbit, Janete Ward Weeks (Bobby) of Meridian; sisters, Annie Reen Shaw of Memphis, Tenn.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Buck Ward; and her son, George Edwin Ward.
