Gas prices on the rise this week

Gas prices all over the state are on the rise.
Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan with http://mississippigasprices.com [3] reported that average retail gasoline prices have risen $.04 per gallon in the past week, with an average of $2.99 a gallon.
Murphy’s Oil at Walmart on Highway 12 and Kroger gasoline are both at $2.92, as is Amoco Sprint Mart on Highway 12 West.
Chuck’s BP on University Drive is above the national average at $3.03, but the B-Quik BP on Louisville is slightly below the national average at $2.95.
The Shell at 1218 Highway 12 is $2.96 for regular gas per gallon and the Sprint Mart Shell at 101 Academy Road is $2.95.
The Texaco at 301 Highway 12 East is right on par with the national average with regular gas at $2.99 per gallon.
DeHaan reported current gas prices are up more than $.46 from this week last year.
