The 2011 Area Keyboard Festival sponsored by the Church Music Department of the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board was held at Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus, Mississippi on January 27, 2011. This festival is held every year to encourage young piano students to play hymns and to become involved in church music. Over 40 area churches participated in this festival. All nine of these students received a rating of Superior on the playing of their hymns. They are (front row, Left to Right) Bryner Merrell, Tanner Smith, Brennan Saucier, and Amelia Story, (Back row) Anna Kate Saucier, Camden Merrell, Travis Story, David Burnett, and Sara Grace Duncan. These are all students of Betsy Godbold.
