The funeral for Walter Rice will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Union Chapel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The Rev. James Rice will officiate.
Visitation will be today from 1 to 6 p.m. at West Memorial Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rice, 77, died on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Riley Hospital in Meridian.
He was of the Baptist faith.
