ARLINGTON, Va. — Willaim Carey Mattox, 60, died on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Groves Mattox; loving father of Benjamin Carey Mattox and Claire Armstrong Mattox; brother of James C. Mattox of Greenwood, Steve J. Mattox of Mount Pleasant, S.C. and David B. Mattox of Mayock, N.C.
He was also survived by seven nephews and six nieces including Robert Noles Mattox of Madison.
Friends may call on Friday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Arlington Funeral Home, 3901, N. Fairfax Dr., Arlington, VA 22203.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at St. Luke Catholic Church on 7001 Georgetown Pike in McLean, Va. with burial at a family cemetery in West Virginia.
