The funeral for Abbie Gail Barnes-Carpenter will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rock Hill United Methodist Church with burial in Rock Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Jerome Wilson will officiate.
Visitation will be Friday from 12 to 5 p.m. with family hour from 5 to 6 p.m. at West Memorial Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Barnes-Carpenter, 43, died on December 3, 2010 at her home in Starkville.
She was an educator born in Oktibbeha County. She was of the Methodist faith.
