The funeral for Hardy Wayne Smith will be today at 2 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville with burial in Oddfellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be an hour prior to the funeral at Welch Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Smith, 59, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. He was a parts manager with Jimmy Gray Auto.
He is survived by his daughters, Courtney Wiseman of Madison and Cassie Lynn Bird of Sturgis; parents, Currie L. Smith and Joyce Mae Smith of Starkville; sister, Carol Smith Henley of Laurel; brother, Jim Smith of Collierville, Tenn. and six grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
