The Eupora Christmas Market is set from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday in downtown Eupora.
This year, the Eupora Main Street will be selling limited edition pewter ornaments, featuring a picture of an iconic historic building with a few sentences sharing its historic significance to the community on the back of the ornament.
This year’s ornament will features the Eupora Depot building, circa. 1917.
Cynthia Wilson, executive director of the Webster County Development Council/ Eupora Main Street program said the ornaments will be sold at this year’s Christmas Market, and in years to come.
“This is the first in a series of ornaments that ill be sold each year,” Wilson said.
Wilson said in coming years, ornaments will depict the Old Eupora High School building (currently the county school district offices); the Eupora Post Office; the Triangle building; and the Old Elementary School building that burned in the ’70-’71 school year.
The ornaments will be dated with the year they are offered. There will be only 250 ornaments available and they will sell for $16 (tax included).
