Bobby and Dale Junkin of Vicksburg are happy to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lyndsey Nicole Junkin of Starkville, to Aaron Phillip O’Nan of Starkville, son of Phil and Robin O’Nan of Starkville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Emma Lee Burch and the late Cratus Burch of Vicksburg, the late Selma Junkin and the late Hattie Beatrice Junkin of Cleveland.
She is a 2002 graduate of Warren Central High School. She attended Meridian Community College, where she played on the Women’s Soccer Team. She also graduated from Mississippi State University, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, a Varsity Cheerleader, and a Varsity Soccer Team member.
She is currently employed as a fourth grade teacher at Louisville Elementary School.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Edna O’Nan and the late Eugene O’Nan of Henderson, Ky., and Barbara Eblen Brown of Henderson, Ky.
He is a 2002 graduate of Starkville High School, and a graduate of Mississippi State University, where he was a member of the National Honor Society, the Varsity Football Team, and the Varsity Baseball Team.
He is self-employed in construction.
The wedding is set for 7 p.m. Dec. 18, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Starkville. A reception will be held at Starkville Country Club.
